Open to high school seniors currently enrolled in a Catholic High School in Cook County or Lake County, Illinois.
Winning essay will be published in a May issue of the Catholic New World. All three winners will also receive a one-year complimentary subscription to the Catholic New World.
Essay should be 600 words or less.
Content: This year’s theme for Catholic Schools Week is A+ for America. Because of their traditionally high academic standards and high graduation rates, all supported by strong moral values. Catholic schools and their graduates make a positive contribution to American society. How has your Catholic education prepared you to make a difference in the world around you?
Deadline: All essays must be received by the Catholic New World no later than April 1st, 2011. Winners will be notified in writing no later than May 1st, 2011.
Include the following information: Student Name, Student Address, Student email Address, Contact phone number, and School Name.
